Main Building(formerly the Activity Hut/Training Hut) 11 x 5m approx has 2 rooms – a fully equipped kitchen and hall with chairs & tables. The Lower Toilet Block is attached to the building with hot/cold water and 1 shower. Pitch 1 adjacent to the building is included in the hire for camping and activities. Please note that the cost of hire (both weekends and mid week) is payable in advance of your stay. The kitchen has cutlery/crockery/utensils. Please check these are sufficient for your numbers. You should bring sponges/cloths/sprays/washing up liquid/teatowels etc. None of the pots/pans are to be used on open fires. The main kitchen equipment includes: 2 large fridge/freezer units, hot water boiler, 6 ring commercial gas oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and twin sinks with on-demand hot water & draining boards
The Small Building (formerly the Warden’s Hut) 4.5 x 3.5m approx is situated at the top of the site. Facilities in a single room include cold water tap, kettle, microwave, fridge, toaster and table & fixed benches. Please note there are no pans, cutlery or utensils. The fixed benches in the hut could probably seat about 10 with a squeeze. The table is only small, more for food prep or board games. There a sitting ledge outside under the shelter ideal for stove cooking. If you need seating and tables for communal eating then its recommended that you bring some with you.
There are male and female toilets in the Upper Toilet Block with cold water only. The Lower Toilet Block is attached to The Main Building and is split into male and female. The female side also has an electric shower. Both hot and cold water are supplied to all sinks in the Lower Toilet Block. Soap, toilet paper, sanitary bags and paper hand towels are provided in both toilet blocks.

We have equipment for a water slide, pioneering (no ropes are supplied), orienteering and picture trail. Please enquire when booking. Additional fees may apply
Please note the site is only available to Scout Association members and other School & Youth Groups.
Scout Association Insurance only covers members of the Scout Association. If you are a non-Scout Association organisation you are not covered by us and must arrange your own insurance cover for everything involved during your stay at the site.
