The Site

Whitley Beaumont enjoys five camping areas, two buildings and a fantastic natural environment which is in a tucked away and quiet location, whilst still allowing access to the busy West Yorkshire locality.

The exceptional biodiversity of Whitley Beaumont makes it an ideal venue for environmental studies and project work.

Green lane and footpath access from almost any direction makes the site highly suited for expedition stopovers.

The site is governed by the aims and ideals of The Scout Association which is a Charitable Organisation, and the three Huddersfield Scout Districts of Huddersfield South East, Huddersfield South West and Huddersfield North which are also all Charitable Organisations. The principal aim being to promote the physical, mental and spiritual well being of young people.
